Great

The best usable effect for guitar and ever

Very deluded

I got this app and i was just planning to buy more, they were in summer offer at a lower price, i just checked two days ago, Bias for ipad was at 4,99 and metal signature 4,99 Today Bias is at 19.99! and metal expansions is at 9.99 Summer is still going and i am writing the 4 july 2015. Announcing "summer discounts" and in the middle of summer rise it up the price it is not correct! I hope it is an error or i will go to buy applications on other good company like tonestack or IK Multimedia

Crash

La attuale versione non cè modo di usarla, va subito in crash appena la lanci. This version doesnt work, it goes on crash at start!

Help!

After last update I cannot use tha app on my iphone 4s because playback during jam is discontinous and disturbed. Please help! I have this app for more than one year without any problem.

Issue with last update (new dsp?)

With the last update (3.6.19) the low latency setting does not work with my iPad 4: noises, clicks and pops. Please fix it!

Easy, feature-rich, works with my interfaces

JamUp Pro and Bias work with all the interfaces I have, which is not true of every amp sim app. I find the jam feature nice for late night practice, allowing you to play with a backing track and headphones. Though the pitch controls increments could be more fine-grained. Many old recordings are off just enough to be annoying and you cant adjust Jams pitch to be close enough. The 8-track is easy to use. Ive only used one channel so far.

Best app in the world for guitar players

The best app ever really this is worth it I hope they never take it down I can get all signature sounds from this app really amazing you have no idea this thing is on fire

Finally fixed...almost.

Finally, I can load SOME of my purchased iTunes songs into the Jam feature. You guys took way too long to fix this issue, and you still need to keep working it because I still cannot load all of my purchased music. With that being said, thanks for finally getting started on repairing the issue. Im so glad that I have a reason to use Jamup Pro again.

wish it was more stable

awesome when it is working - especially with bias integration for amp customization. but, there are often pops, clicks, and dropouts in the audio in both normal and low latency mode. so, this is not usable for anything more than some practice. using brand new iPhone SE with only bias and jam up running. very unfortunate.

Review

Great app (but has growing pains)

Bait & Switch

As usual, the description in the app purchase screen does not match what you are buying! After the purchase of what was supposed to be full featured app you get a whole bunch of "this feature is available for purchase" when you try to use two thirds of the app. This is why I typically dont shop here.

Truly amazing

If you are really in to tone and want to really get into your music. This app well provide you everything you need. The rest is up to your imagination. Also works perfect on a itouch which is how Im using it.

Great for bedroom playing / writing

JamUp Pro comes with the same basic features, and offers a number of in-app purchases (of which I recommend expanding to 8 tracks of recording and the orange OR30 amp). Its easy to use, very customizable, and allows you to play virtually anywhere. I bring it on tour to practice, use it to write in my apartment. It will slow down songs in you music library to help you learn your favorite songs, has a looping function, and up to 8 tracks of recording. Its no substitute for a real studio, but its a great tool.

Great tone

Best modeled sounds! I do all my recording on the IPhone with Jamup and then transfer it to the PC for mixing and mastering. Stuff sounds great!

Mmm K

As far as stereo effects, its probably not likely with JamUp. Youd have to get BIAS FX to have this. The response to my question about stereo effects.

Moogerfooger?

Love the app but you guys need to add a ring modulator or the Moogerfooger like you have in Bias FX!

Flawless with bias (well almost)

Works really well and sounds warm and convincing. However looses points for tech support always giving the same answers and being impersonal. Also the pitch shifter pedals are terrible. Cant even play chords. Whats the point then? I can play a single note higher without any hassle. Think they use note tracking instead of frequency shifting. They glitch and sound like crap but other than that everything is flawless. Also the latency could be better, I got an iPhone 6s. Wish these guys would catch up to (yonac)tonestack. Tonestack still smokes everyone else for clarity and almost zero latency, they have a 64 buffer option as well as processing quality. Come on positive grid you can do better. Stop resting on your laurels Honestly just get tonestack. Its the best one. Ive tried them all and jamuo/bias is 2nd best out there but Tonestack is #1 the most versatile for experienced users. Just buy tonestack first. I will say bias/jamup get points for warmth tho. Very very warm sounding which is a plus. Give us better pitch shift algorithms and 64 buffer latency and its a 5 star easy.

Missing important features

There is a lot to like about this app. Unfortunately until they fix the GUI on iPhone 6 Plus it stops short of a win. They need to add better control of the rehearse loop. I contacted support and they say theres a blue dot that shows up when you turn it on. However you cant see it on the 6 Plus. So you end up hitting the loop start "A" button or the loop end "B" button. For most people who might want to use this to drill licks, the tight space around the loop control buttons means youll end up hitting them repeatedly when you try and enable the loop. This will make practicing your parts a lot more frustrating. They could make the potentiometers much smaller to gain a little room on the interface for the loop controls, or even use sliders instead. Sliders would actually be better. I would think it would be obvious that the more necessary controls are the looping points and the loop on/off button. Theres also no way to set the loops starting and end point accurately. So you end up with the loop starting or ending in the middle of a measure. If they did some work on just the practice loop section this app would be perfect because you always have your phone with you when you are at a gig and if you carry the interface too you can work on tunes backstage before you go on. It would sure be a lot more convenient than a laptop. The multi-track recorder would be nice if it would sync with the drums they provide like most DAWs do. This one doesnt. They have a lot of pedals you can add and they are reasonably priced. If the Graphic interface were better Id likely buy more pedals because I would really want to use it. Sad really. Its almost there but missed the mark. If youre not a professional player than youll probably dig it.

Have to settle 4 this on iPhone instead of bias fx

Before Bias amp & FX, this was the top dog, now its running somewhat of a distant 3rd, may 4th behind AmpliTube 4, and to be honest, I feel like Im settling for this when Im using my iPhone. Id much rather have bias fx on my iPhone as I use it as my go to for my iPad , and I dont understand why they can bring bias amps but not fx to the iPhone. Anyway this app, while it lacks the possibilities of bias fx, does have its own offerings, but one of them, the 8track, is terrible and a waste of money, as it lacks so many basic features it should have.

IAP Sale?

I like the app, but theres suppose to be a half off sale on the In-App-Purchases and it appears they are regular price.
